Why does “image 3” have scars that are not in the other two images?

I love the fact Kai is staring right through you. I get more of a connection from that image, but it also feels like her thoughts are elsewhere. It gives me a feeling there is more going on than is being revealed…

Image 2 is the obvious choice here IMO. 🙂

Voted for #2 and found it’s ahead pretty far in the polls. Looks like a popular choice 🙂 All 3 are great though, but that “awake” picture is just really attention grabbing.

Image two is the best. That open eye that is locking at you, make an important difference and give a warm and touchy feeling too. I don’t believe that this picture are vectorial and they look so close to reality. Your graphics designer are really worthy for they’re part in Velocity. By the way, James can you recommend any tutorial about how to make space and stars pictures. Ive been searching the internet for tuts ,but none of them gave me that feeling of reality , that the one I’ve seen in Velocity 2X story teaser.
Thx for all the good job your putting passion in, and stay true to your cause not matter what. Can wait to see how this project ends out.

I like where the character is heading and I like the implied animation between images 1 & 2 but obviously 2 is preferable for its engagement with the viewer. Image 3 is fine and i like it at least as much as 2 if it weren’t for the cyan blue line that seems to go into the characters mouth – unless there’s a sterling reason for that, it might look better following the curve of her jawline. It just makes me wonder what the purpose of the suggested tech is. I’d like to see another quick pass over image 3 before I pick between 2 & 3 🙂 Love the work and love the fact you’re taking the time to ask the question. ^^

Oh come on! First reply basically tells us that Kai gets further integrated with the ship as the story advances! Any more spoilers?

Think the bright yellow hair in image 3 would stand out more if surrounded by many other store items. That said if image 2 is large enough on tv screen then certainly more striking.

I picked image 2, but I’ll be clicking regardless. ^_^

I can’t believe that so many people found image 2 most appealing! I thought it would be very even between the three.

For me, number 3 is the sole option. I really don’t like closeup face portraits. It doesn’t say anything when it is out of context like that. It might as well be a new Zone of the enders. Or a shitty fighting game that tries to be “new” by having sexy cyborg chicks. I sure couldn’t tell from just those pictures. Number 3 actually gives the viewer something, but is still clean and small enough for a thumbnail
